One of my favourite plant-based sources of energy is hemp hearts. They are not only super nutritious by being packed with protein and healthy fats; they also taste good with a slightly nutty flavour and a chewy texture.
I like to add hemp hearts to smoothies, sprinkle a teaspoon on my oatmeal, cereal, and even on salads. And, obviously, it is an awesome ingredient for energy balls.

quick oats – look for gluten free on the label!
chocolate chips – I prefer dark chocolate
natural peanut butter
honey
hemp hearts
ground flax
vanilla extract
sea salt
How to Make this Recipe

First, measure out your ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Second, using a spoon or spatulablend together the mixture until the ingredients have all been incorporated.
Third, scoopout tablespoon-sized balls and roll these babies out.

Hemp Seed Energy Balls – Easy Gluten Free + No Bake Recipe
